Business Analyst/Developer (Programmer)
Training and Staffing Coordinator
Under direct supervision of the Manager of Software Development or other senior level staff members, the Business Analyst/Developer is responsible for reviewing and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
Key Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Must understand basic programming fundamentals
- Must have a working knowledge of an application software language such as SQR, Java, C++ or an equivalent object oriented programming language
- Familiarity writing SQL queries preferred.
- Familiar with relational databases, client-server concepts, structured and object oriented programming techniques
- Working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IS industry
- Good communication skills in English required, both verbal and written
Education and Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, or Associate's degree in a related area and up to 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Under minimal supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Training and Staffing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining overall company staffing and employment processes. The Training and Staffing Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating various training for all company personnel; analyzes, designs and coordinates training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
Key Requirements:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills in managing people and communicating with employees and management
- Must be comfortable speaking to large groups
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented, with strong coordination skills
- Must be familiar with federal and state hiring regulations
- Must be capable of working independently
- Must be flexible and able to shift priorities as required
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Must be able to work in a high-volume work environment and handle time pressure
- Must have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Education and Background
- PHR certification or equivalent to three to five years of experience in Human Resources preferred
- One to three years conducting and coordinating training programs preferred
